The Phoenix group is a post diagnosis support group offering activities, advice, outings and a community for friendship and interaction. The website has been designed to communicate the range of support we offer for new members and to provide a platform for current members to share ideas , check out upcoming events and review past events.
Current members are still able to access all the information contained in the previous site, however as well as a new design we have also added a few new features including the donations page which will allow anybody to make a donation to the group. You can check out the new forum and you can now send us messages from the contact form.
As always we welcome your suggestions for the site and the group and look forward to hearing your feeback on the new site. |

IS THERE LIFE ATER ALZHEIMERS?’ – THERE CAN BE. When my wife Rose started to say, “You don’t understand” in 1986, I really didn’t understand. She was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease right back then but it was just confusion and we could live with it. Nevertheless it progressed and in 1987 it was time for us to leave Bangladesh, where Rose had been in charge of our BMS guesthouse. One of our nurses realised that Rose needed to go back to England and so we resigned at the end of our normal tour out there. |
